Walking
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the Nuwara Eliya Post Office located on the Main Street. Once you reach the Post Office, take a right onto the A5 Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club on your left. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to Single Tree Hill. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a small path leading up to Single Tree Hill on your right. Follow this path to reach your destination.
Tuk-Tuk
Find a Tuk-Tuk stand in the central area of Nuwara Eliya, like near the Post Office or the market. Communicate your destination as 'Single Tree Hill' to the driver. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the A5 Road, and you will arrive close to the entrance of Single Tree Hill. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at the best point near the entrance of the attraction.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the shops in the city center. Start by heading towards the A5 Road and follow the same route as if you were walking, keeping a steady pace. After about 1 kilometer, you'll pass the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club on your left. Shortly after, look for the path leading to Single Tree Hill on your right.
