Walking
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the main bus station located on the corner of the Main Street. Once you reach the bus station, look for buses heading to Wellawaya or Koslanda. The journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Diyaluma Falls. After you get off the bus on the Colombo - Batticaloa Highway, walk approximately 1 kilometer down the road until you see the sign for Diyaluma Falls. Follow the signs to the entrance.

From your hotel or accommodation in Nuwara Eliya, you can hire a tuk-tuk. Simply ask the driver to take you to Diyaluma Falls. The journey should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of Diyaluma Falls, where you can begin your exploration.

Public Bus
Start from the main bus station in Nuwara Eliya. Look for buses that say they are going to Wellawaya. Purchase a ticket from the conductor, and once you board, sit back for about 30-45 minutes until you reach the stop near Diyaluma Falls on the Colombo - Batticaloa Highway. After you disembark, walk about 1 kilometer along the highway to reach the falls.
