Getting There

Walking
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head south on the main street (Lovers' Lane). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the A5 road. Turn left onto the A5 road and follow it for about 5 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and tea plantations along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Rawanaella. Once you reach Rawanaella, locate the Ella Rock View Point which is well marked.

Tuk-Tuk
You can easily find a tuk-tuk at any point in Nuwara Eliya. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Rawanaella, specifically to the Ella Rock View Point. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

Public Bus
From the Nuwara Eliya bus station, board a bus heading towards Ella. Inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Rawanaella. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Rawanaella, you can either walk or take a short tuk-tuk ride to the Ella Rock View Point which should be around 1 kilometer from where the bus drops you off.
