Walking
From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the Nuwara Eliya Post Office. Walk straight along the main road (Peradeniya-Badulla-Chenkaladi Highway). Continue on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Kandy road (A5). Keep walking for approximately 5 kilometers, and you will see signs directing you to Kandy. Follow these signs until you reach the city of Kandy.
Bus
From the main bus station in Nuwara Eliya, board a bus heading towards Kandy. The buses leave regularly, approximately every 30 minutes. The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Make sure to ask the driver to notify you when you reach Kandy. The bus will drop you off at the Kandy bus station, which is centrally located in Kandy.
