Walking
Start at the Nuwara Eliya city center, near the post office. Head west on the Main Street (Greenville Road) for about 200 meters until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork onto the Deltota Road. Continue walking straight for approximately 2.5 kilometers until you reach the junction of Deltota Road and the road leading to Kondagala. From there, you will see a sign for Kondagala Rock. Turn left onto the smaller road and continue walking for another 1 kilometer until you arrive at the base of Kondagala Rock.

Tuk-Tuk
From the Nuwara Eliya city center, find a tuk-tuk stand. Negotiate a fare and ask the driver to take you to Kondagala Rock. The driver will take you along the Main Street (Greenville Road) heading west, then onto Deltota Road. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. You will be dropped off at the base of Kondagala Rock, from where you can start your hike.

Public Transport
From Nuwara Eliya, take a bus heading towards Deltota. The bus will depart from the main bus station located near the city center. Once you reach the Deltota bus station, you can either walk approximately 2 kilometers to the Kondagala Rock entrance or hire a local tuk-tuk for a short ride. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes.
