Walking
From the Nuwara Eliya city center, head east on the Main Street towards the Grand Hotel. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Lake Gregory Road. Turn left onto Lake Gregory Road and walk for another 300 meters. You will see a small sign indicating the path to Lover's Leap Waterfall on your right. Follow the path which may be steep and uneven, and hike up for approximately 1 kilometer to reach the viewpoint of the waterfall.

From your location in Nuwara Eliya, flag down a tuk-tuk and tell the driver you want to go to Lover's Leap Waterfall. The driver will likely take you via the Main Street towards Lake Gregory Road. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the base of the waterfall trail, you may need to pay a small entrance fee. After that, follow the hiking path upward for about 1 kilometer to reach the waterfall viewpoint.

If you're up for a bit of adventure, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nuwara Eliya. Start your ride from the city center, heading east along Main Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Lake Gregory Road, where you will turn left. Cycle for about 300 meters until you see the path leading to Lover's Leap Waterfall on your right. Park your bicycle safely and follow the trail, which involves a moderate hike uphill to reach the waterfall viewpoint.
