    If you are starting from the city center of Nuwara Eliya, begin at the post office located on Bank Road. Head south on Bank Road until you reach the intersection with the Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and walk straight for about 500 meters, passing shops and local eateries. You will see the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Avissawella - Hatton - Nuwara Eliya Highway (A7 road). Follow this road for approximately 1.5 km. As you walk, keep an eye out for the signs indicating the Swarnagiri Maha Viharaya / Single Tree Temple. The temple is located on your left side, and you will see its distinctive architecture from the road.
