    From the center of Nuwara Eliya, head towards the Nuwara Eliya Post Office located on the Main Street. Once you reach the Post Office, take the road that goes towards the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection with the A7 highway. Turn left onto the A7 and walk straight for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to Kitulgala. After about 20-30 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Makandawa Conservation Center on your right.

    From the center of Nuwara Eliya, you can easily find a Tuk-Tuk. Tell the driver you want to go to Kitulgala, specifically the Makandawa Conservation Center. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the location. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
