Getting There

    From Nuwara Eliya town, head to the Nuwara Eliya Bus Station, which is centrally located. Look for a bus heading towards Kandy or Ramboda. The buses usually depart every 30 minutes. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Request the driver or conductor to drop you off at Ramboda Falls. The bus will stop near the entrance to the falls.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    You can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Nuwara Eliya. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Ramboda Falls. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Be sure to agree on a price before starting your trip. The tuk-tuk will take you directly to the entrance of the falls.

  • Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the center of Nuwara Eliya. Head towards the A5 road, which is the main road leading out of the town. Follow this road for approximately 7 kilometers. The walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Ramboda Falls, or ask locals for directions as you go. The falls will be on your left side as you approach.
