Walking
If you are staying in the center of Nuwara Eliya, start your journey by heading towards the main road, the Nuwara Eliya - Hatton Road (A7). From the city center, walk down to the Lake Gregory area and follow the signs to the A7 highway. Once you reach the highway, turn right and continue walking along the road. The St. Clair Waterfall Roadside Viewpoint is approximately 30 minutes away on foot, located at WJWW+W7V, Avissawella - Hatton - Nuwara Eliya Hwy, Talawakelle. Make sure to keep an eye out for the signs indicating the viewpoint.
Public Bus
From Nuwara Eliya, head to the main bus station located near the city center. Look for buses heading towards Hatton or Talawakelle. Purchase a ticket from the ticket counter. The bus ride to Talawakelle takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Talawakelle bus station, exit the bus and turn left onto the main road. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will reach the St. Clair Waterfall Roadside Viewpoint. Be sure to ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the correct stop.
Tuk-Tuk
To reach St. Clair Waterfall Roadside Viewpoint from Nuwara Eliya, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in the city. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Ask the driver to take you to WJWW+W7V, Avissawella - Hatton - Nuwara Eliya Hwy, Talawakelle. The driver should be familiar with the location as it is a popular tourist attraction.
