Walking
If you are starting from the Nuwara Eliya city center, head towards the famous Lake Gregory. Walk along the main road, passing the Post Office and the local market. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Underbank Road. Turn left onto Underbank Road and walk for another 500 meters. You will see the Rising Lion Hotel on your right side, which also houses Pigeons Nest Guest House. The address is 27/58 Underbank Before, Nuwara Eliya.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one near the main bus station or at popular tourist spots. Tell the driver to take you to Rising Lion Hotel on Underbank Road. It should take about 10 minutes from the city center. Make sure to confirm the fare before boarding. Once you arrive, ask the driver to drop you off at the hotel entrance.

Bicycle
For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle can be a great way to explore Nuwara Eliya. From the city center, head towards Lake Gregory and then take the Underbank Road. The ride is approximately 2 kilometers long and is relatively easy. Be cautious of the traffic as you approach the Rising Lion Hotel, which will be on your right.
