If you are traveling by car from Ratnapura, head east on the A4 road towards Suriyakanda. Continue on this road for about 18 km. Once you reach the town of Suriyakanda, look for the B115 road on your left. Turn onto B115 and drive for approximately 3 km. Maduwanwela Walawwa will be on your left. There is parking available on-site.

From Ratnapura, take a bus heading to Suriyakanda. Buses frequently leave from the Ratnapura central bus station. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Suriyakanda, you can either take a tuk-tuk or walk to Maduwanwela Walawwa, which is about 3 km from the bus stop. If you choose to walk, follow the B115 road until you see the Walawwa on your left.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from Ratnapura to Maduwanwela Walawwa. The fare should be negotiated beforehand, but expect to pay around 1000-1500 LKR for the trip, which will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk driver will know the location.
