If you are driving to Walawe River Safari Resort, head towards Madyamaduruwa, which is about 10-15 minutes from the main entrance of Udawalawe National Park. Take the A4 highway and keep an eye out for the signs leading to Madyamaduruwa. Once you reach Madyamaduruwa, look for Demodara Mulla Road. The resort is located at 160 B Demodara Mulla. You can park your car at the resort.

To reach Walawe River Safari Resort by public transportation, first, take a bus from the Udawalawe National Park entrance to Madyamaduruwa. Buses run regularly, and the fare is typically around 50 LKR per person. Once you arrive in Madyamaduruwa, you can either walk to Demodara Mulla (approximately 1 km) or take a tuk-tuk for about 200 LKR to reach the resort located at 160 B Demodara Mulla.
