If you're traveling by car, the Meetiyagoda Moonstone Mine is located at No/565 Khawa Road, Meetiyagoda. From Galle, take the A2 highway heading east towards Matara. After about 30 km, take the exit towards the B3 road. Follow the B3 road for approximately 12 km, and then take a left onto Khawa Road. The mine will be on your right. There is no entrance fee to access the mine, but guided tours may have a fee.

To get to Meetiyagoda Moonstone Mine using public transport, head to the main bus terminal in Galle. Take a bus heading towards Matara and ask the conductor to drop you off at Meetiyagoda. The bus journey will take around 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive at Meetiyagoda, you can walk to No/565 Khawa Road, which is a short distance from the bus stop. Ensure you have some coins for the bus fare, typically around 50-100 LKR.
