If you are traveling by car from Udawalawe National Park to Hurulu Eco Park, head north on the B400 road from the main entrance of Udawalawe. Continue driving for about 30 km until you reach the junction at Habarana. At this junction, turn right onto Trincomalee Road (A6). Continue for approximately 10 km, and you will find the entrance to Hurulu Eco Park on your left. Look for the signs along the way. Note that parking is available at the park entrance.

To reach Hurulu Eco Park via public transportation, you can take a bus from Udawalawe to Habarana. Buses frequently leave from the Udawalawe bus station. The journey may take around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the bus and traffic. Once you arrive at Habarana, take a tuk-tuk or local taxi to Hurulu Eco Park, which is about 10 km away. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your tuk-tuk ride. The total cost for the bus ride will typically be around LKR 100-200, and the tuk-tuk ride may cost LKR 500-1000.
