    From the Unawatuna beach area, head east along the beach towards the Unawatuna Junction. Once you reach the junction, turn left onto the Galle Road (A2) heading towards Ahangama. Continue walking on the A2 road until you reach the Ahangama bus stop. At the bus stop, look for Handunugoda Road, which is a small road on the left. Walk along Handunugoda Road for about 1 km, and you will find the Handunugoda Tea Estate on your right.

  • Tuk-tuk

    If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one at the Unawatuna beach area. Inform the driver that you would like to go to the Handunugoda Tea Estate in Ahangama. The driver will take the Galle Road (A2) towards Ahangama and then turn onto Handunugoda Road. The trip should take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Bicycle

    If you are renting a bicycle, head towards the Galle Road (A2) from Unawatuna beach. Turn left onto the A2 road and cycle towards Ahangama. When you reach the Ahangama bus stop, look for Handunugoda Road on your left. Take this road and cycle for about 1 km until you see the Handunugoda Tea Estate on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.
