If you are in the center of Unawatuna, start by walking towards the main road (Galle Road). Once you reach Galle Road, head north (towards Galle) for about 2 kilometers. You will pass various shops and restaurants along the way. After about 20-25 minutes of walking, keep an eye out for the sign for 'Balapitiya' on your left. Continue walking until you reach the junction where you can see the sign for A Elathota Road. Turn left onto A Elathota Road and walk for about 500 meters. The Madu Ganga Boat Safari will be on your right at 11/9, A Elathota Rd.

From any point in Unawatuna, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Just ask the driver to take you to 'Madu Ganga Boat Safari in Balapitiya.' The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take Galle Road and then turn left onto A Elathota Road. Make sure to mention the exact address: 11/9, A Elathota Rd, Balapitiya 80550. The tuk-tuk will drop you off directly in front of the location.
