Continue straight for about 2 km, passing by the beach and several local shops. You will see signs for Balapitiya. As you approach Balapitiya, look for Elathota Road on your right. Turn onto Elathota Road and continue for about 1 km. Madu River Safari by Buddhi will be on your left at 11/9 Elathota Rd.

    From anywhere in Unawatuna, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Just tell the driver you want to go to Madu River Safari in Balapitiya. It’s about a 15-20 minute ride depending on traffic. The driver can take you directly to 11/9 Elathota Rd. Make sure to confirm the fare beforehand.
