Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Björkliden and head southwest on the E10 towards Kiruna. Continue on the E10 for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the road to Stockholm archipelago. Follow the signs to the archipelago, which will lead you to ferry terminals or viewpoints depending on your destination within the archipelago. Please note that some parts of the archipelago may require a ferry ride.

To reach the Stockholm archipelago using public transport, start by taking the bus from Björkliden to Kiruna, which runs regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive in Kiruna, transfer to the bus that goes to Norrtälje or Vaxholm, depending on which part of the archipelago you want to visit. Ensure to check the bus schedules in advance, as connections may vary. After arriving at the ferry terminal in Norrtälje or Vaxholm, you can take a ferry to various islands in the archipelago.
