The Infamous Kreditbanken: A Historical Landmark of Stockholm Syndrome

Getting There

• Metro

  Start your journey by heading to the nearest metro station. If you are in the city center, make your way to T-Centralen, which is the main hub for the Stockholm metro system. From T-Centralen, take the Green Line (line 19) towards Hässelby Strand. Stay on the train for just two stops and get off at Kungsträdgården station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the escalators that lead up to street level.

• Walking

  After emerging from Kungsträdgården station, you will find yourself at a beautiful park area. Head southwest towards the waterfront and walk along the water. Continue walking for about 5 minutes until you reach Norrmalmstorg, which is a square surrounded by notable buildings. Kreditbanken (Stockholm Syndrome) is located at Norrmalmstorg 2A, right in the center of the square.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch bus number 53 from T-Centralen. The bus stop is located right outside the station. Board the bus and ride it for about 3 stops. Get off at the 'Norrmalmstorg' stop. From there, you will see the square directly in front of you. Walk towards the center of the square, and Kreditbanken (Stockholm Syndrome) is located at Norrmalmstorg 2A.

• Tram

  Another option is to take tram line 7 from the nearest tram station to your location. If you are in the city center, look for the nearest tram stop. Board tram number 7 towards Djurgården and ride it for about 5 stops. Disembark at the 'Norrmalmstorg' stop. Once you get off, you will find Kreditbanken (Stockholm Syndrome) at Norrmalmstorg 2A, just a short walk from the tram stop.
