Getting There

  • Public Transport

    If you're starting from T-Centralen, the central subway station, take the red line (line 14) in the direction of Fruängen. Get off at the station called 'Medborgarplatsen' (about 3 stops). Once you exit the station, follow the signs for 'Medborgarplatsen' and walk towards the square. From there, head south on Folkungagatan until you reach Ryssgården. The Stockholm City Museum will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you're nearby, for example, from Södermalm, walk towards Nytorget Park. From the park, head southwest on Nytorgsgatan until you reach Folkungagatan. Turn left and continue walking until you reach Ryssgården. The museum is located just off the main road, and you should see the entrance as you approach.

  • Bus

    If you're near Slussen, catch bus number 2 or 3 (check the bus stop signs for updates). Ride for a few stops and get off at 'Ryssgården'. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. Head towards the entrance, which is clearly marked.

    From the city center, take tram line 7 from 'T-Centralen' towards 'Luma'. Get off at 'Zinkensdamm'. From there, walk north on Zinkens väg, then turn right onto Ryssgården. The museum will be ahead.
