    If you are driving, start by heading towards Hallstahammar. From Västerås, take the E18 road heading towards Örebro. After approximately 25 minutes, take the exit towards Hallstahammar and merge onto Road 66. Continue on Road 66 for about 10 km. In Hallstahammar, follow the signs for Karl-Erik Sjögrens väg. The Kanalmuseet Skantzen will be on your left at Karl-Erik Sjögrens väg 13, 734 40 Hallstahammar. There is parking available nearby.

    Public Transportation

    If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a train from Västerås to Hallstahammar. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Hallstahammar station, exit the station and catch bus number 702 towards Skantzen. The bus will take you directly to the Kanalmuseet Skantzen stop.
