Walking
Start from the center of Ascona at the Piazza Giuseppe Motta. Head east towards Via Borgo and turn left onto Via Borgo. Continue straight until you reach the ferry terminal. Take a ferry towards Carate Urio. Once you arrive at the Carate Urio ferry stop, disembark and walk along the waterfront. Follow the signs that lead you to Via Pangino. Castello di Urio is located at Via Pangino, 1, just a short walk from the waterfront.
Public Transport
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Via della Libertà. Take bus line 316 towards Carate Urio. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Carate Urio stop, walk towards the lake and follow Via Pangino. Castello di Urio will be on your right at Via Pangino, 1.
