From Ascona, head to the Ascona ferry terminal located along the lakefront. You can take a boat heading towards Dongo. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. Once you arrive at the Dongo ferry terminal, exit the boat and walk towards Via del Giardino, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the town center, and you'll find Giardino del Merlo at Via del Giardino, 12.

Start at the Ascona bus station, which is located near the main square. Take bus line C10 towards Dongo. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes.
