Bus
From Ascona, head to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Ascona, Piazza G. Motta'. Take bus line 'PostAuto' towards 'Cadenazzo'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at 'Colonno, Paese'. From there, walk along 'Via Luigi Civetta' for about 10 minutes in the direction of the lake until you reach the entrance to the Greenway del Lago di Como.

Ferry
Walk to 'Ascona, Porto' ferry terminal. Take the ferry to 'Colonno' which should take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Colonno, exit the ferry and walk straight along the waterfront, then turn right onto 'Via Luigi Civetta'. The entrance to the Greenway del Lago di Como will be on your left.

Walking
If you enjoy walking and are feeling adventurous, you can hike along the lakeside path from Ascona to Colonno. This scenic route will take you about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Follow the lakeside promenade south, continuing onto the trail that leads to Colonno. Upon arrival, follow the signs leading to 'Via Luigi Civetta', where you will find the entrance to the Greenway del Lago di Como.
