Getting There

  • Bus

    From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road (Via della Libertà). Look for bus numbers 1 or 3 heading towards Locarno. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Locarno, Stazione' stop. At Locarno station, transfer to the regional train towards Como. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride until you reach 'Como Lago' station. Upon arrival, exit the station and walk towards the lakefront. Follow the lakeside promenade until you reach Via Per Cernobbio. The Lido Villa Olmo will be on your right, approximately a 15-minute walk from the station.

  • Ferry

    From Ascona, head to the lakeside where the ferry terminal is located. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Como. The ferry ride offers beautiful views of Lake Maggiore and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Como, disembark and follow the signs to the city center. Head towards Via Per Cernobbio, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the ferry terminal. Lido Villa Olmo will be located at Via Per Cernobbio, 2, on your left.

  • Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous, you can also walk from Ascona to Como. Start at the center of Ascona and take the scenic lakeside path towards the town of Locarno. Once in Locarno, continue walking towards the train station. From there, follow the signs for the lakeside path leading to Como. The entire journey is about 20 km and will take approximately 4-5 hours, offering a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains.
