Boat
From Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade. You'll find the boat terminal in the center of Ascona, close to the Piazza Giuseppe Motta. Purchase a ticket for a boat heading to Morcote, which is a scenic ride across Lake Lugano. The journey takes about 30 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and villages. Once you arrive in Morcote, disembark at the main dock.
