Getting There

• Train

  From Lugano, head to the Lugano train station (Stazione di Lugano). You can walk there if you are in the city center, just follow the signs to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Como. The trains run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure to Como. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Como station, exit the station and head towards the city center. After exiting, you will see a large roundabout; continue straight. Follow the signs or ask for directions to Piazza Medaglie d'Oro Comasche. It's about a 15-minute walk from the station.

• Bus

  From Lugano, you can take a bus to Como. Head to the Lugano bus terminal (Autostazione di Lugano) which is located near the train station. Look for bus lines that go to Como, such as the line operated by Trasporti Pubblici Luganesi. Purchase your ticket at the terminal or on the bus. The bus ride takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Como, follow the signs to the city center and walk towards Piazza Medaglie d'Oro Comasche, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore, you can walk to Como, but this will take several hours. Start at the center of Lugano and follow the lakeside path towards the south. Enjoy the beautiful views and nature along the way. The walk is about 25 km and will take approximately 5-6 hours. Make sure to take breaks and stay hydrated. Once you reach Como, head to Piazza Medaglie d'Oro Comasche, which is in the heart of the city.
