  • Walking

    From the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade and take a right turn onto the main road, Via Mottarone. Continue straight until you reach the bus stop 'Ascona, Piazza'. Here, you can catch the bus to Tremezzina. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance. Once you arrive at the bus stop 'Tremezzina, Via Regina', walk along Via Regina for about 5 minutes until you reach Villa Carlotta, located at Via Regina, 2. The villa is well-signposted, and you will see its beautiful gardens as you approach.

  • Public Transport

    Start at Ascona's main square (Piazza G. Motta). Walk to the bus stop 'Ascona, Piazza' located nearby. Take the bus heading towards Tremezzina. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Tremezzina, Via Regina' bus stop. From there, walk along Via Regina for about 5 minutes to reach Villa Carlotta. Look for the entrance to the villa which is marked clearly.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Ascona. From the center, follow the lakeside path towards the north until you reach the junction for Via Regina. Turn left onto Via Regina. Continue straight for approximately 3 kilometers; you will pass through beautiful scenery. Villa Carlotta will be on your right side as you approach its entrance.
