    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are in the city center, head towards Barfüsserplatz, which is a central square in Basel. From there, walk towards the Marktplatz, where you can see the Town Hall. Continue walking straight along Freie Strasse until you reach the Rhine River. Cross the river using the Mittlere Brücke (Middle Bridge). Once you are on the Kleinbasel side, follow the riverside promenade heading east. After a short walk along the river, turn left onto Klybeckstrasse. Continue walking until you reach number 2, where you will find the Hotel Basilisk and the Basiliskenstatue on the terrace.

    Tram

    From the Basel SBB train station, take Tram Line 10 towards 'Riehen' or Tram Line 8 towards 'Leimbach'. Get off at the 'Klybeckstrasse' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk east along Klybeckstrasse for a few minutes until you reach number 2. The Basiliskenstatue will be located on the terrace in front of the Hotel Basilisk.
