If you are starting from the Basel SBB train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse until you reach Barfüsserplatz. At Barfüsserplatz, turn left onto Freie Strasse and continue walking until you reach the Rhine River. Once you reach the river, turn right onto Rheinschanze, which will lead you along the riverbank. Continue along the river until you see the bridge, Mittlere Brücke. Cross the bridge, and once on the other side, turn left onto Rheingasse. You will find Rheingasse on your left.
