Tram
If you are starting from the city center, make your way to the nearest tram stop, which could be 'Rathaus' or 'Marktplatz'. From there, take tram line 10 towards 'Riehen' or 'Bottmingen'. Stay on the tram for about 15 minutes until you reach the 'Bottmingen' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight along 'Schlossgasse' for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Bottmingen Castle on your right side.

From the central bus station ('Basel SBB'), take bus line 36 towards 'Bottmingen'. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Bottmingen, Schloss' stop. After exiting the bus, walk a short distance down 'Schlossgasse', and Bottmingen Castle will be on your left in just a couple of minutes.

If you are nearby, you can walk to Bottmingen Castle from the city center. Head southeast towards 'Basel Minster' and continue down 'Klingental'. Cross the 'Rhein' river via the 'Kleinbasel' bridge and follow the signs towards 'Bottmingen'. This walk will take around 30-40 minutes, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach 'Schlossgasse', Bottmingen Castle will be visible ahead.
