Tram

If you are in central Basel, head to the nearest tram stop. You can take tram line 10 towards 'Riehen, Grenze' or tram line 8 towards 'Kaiseraugst'. Get off at the stop 'Zoo', which is the stop closest to Zoo Basel. From the tram stop, it is just a short 5-minute walk to the entrance. Just follow the signs pointing towards the zoo, and you'll see it on your left.
Bus

If you're near the 'Basel SBB' train station, you can take bus number 36 towards 'Binningen, Schützenhaus'. Get off at the stop 'Zoo'. After exiting the bus, walk straight ahead, and you will see the entrance of Zoo Basel directly in front of you.
Walking

If you prefer to walk and are in the vicinity of the city center, you can head towards Binningerstrasse. Follow the signs to the zoo, which is located about 30 minutes on foot from the city center. Walk along the Rhine river towards the north, then turn right onto Binningerstrasse. Continue walking until you reach number 40, where the zoo entrance is located.
