Getting There

  • Tram

    If you're near the Basel SBB train station, head to the tram station located just outside the station. Look for tram line 8 towards 'Kaiseraugst' or line 10 towards 'Dornach'. Get on the tram and ride for about 8 minutes. Alight at 'Theater' stop. From there, walk straight down Theaterstrasse for about 5 minutes until you reach St. Alban-Graben. Turn right and walk for another 2 minutes. The Fine Arts Museum Basel will be on your left at St. Alban-Graben 16.

    If you are near Marktplatz, start by walking towards the Rathaus (Town Hall). Continue walking down Freie Strasse, which turns into Steinenberg.
