Getting There

  • Tram

    Start at the Basel SBB train station. From there, take tram line 8 in the direction of 'Riehen Ring'. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Kannenfeldpark'. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead into the park. As you walk through the park, keep heading towards the north. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach Strassburger Denkmal, which is located at the north end of the park.

    If you are near the Basel Minster, you can walk to Strassburger Denkmal. Head east on Münsterhügel, then turn right onto Rheinsprung. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Freie Strasse. Turn left onto Freie Strasse and continue straight until you reach Kannenfeldpark. Enter the park and walk straight north for about 10 minutes to arrive at Strassburger Denkmal.

    From the Basel SBB train station, take bus line 36 towards 'Gundeldingen'. Ride for 2 stops and get off at 'Gundeldingen'. Walk back towards the intersection and turn left onto Kannenfeldstrasse. Continue walking for about 15 minutes, and you will find Strassburger Denkmal located at the end of Kannenfeldpark.
