Getting There

Hiking
From the Gornergrat station, begin your hike towards Gorner Gorge. First, follow the marked trail that leads you down the mountain towards Zermatt. The path is well indicated with signs. The hike is approximately 2.5 kilometers and will take around 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful views along the way as you descend.

Once you reach the bottom of the trail, you will arrive at the edge of Zermatt. From there, continue walking towards the main street (Bahnhofstrasse). Walk along this street until you reach the Gornera River, which will guide you towards Gorner Gorge. The gorge entrance is well marked, and you will find signs directing you to the main entrance.
