Car
From Lauterbrunnen Valley, head east on the main road (Route 2) towards Interlaken. After approximately 15 minutes, take the exit towards Grindelwald (Route 6). Follow the signs to Grindelwald, which will take about 20 minutes. Once in Grindelwald, park your car at one of the designated parking areas. From the parking, walk towards the First Cable Car station, where you can take the cable car up to First. Once you reach the top, follow the clearly marked hiking trail to Bachalpsee, which will take around 30-40 minutes.

From Lauterbrunnen, take the train towards Interlaken Ost. At Interlaken Ost, transfer to the train heading to Grindelwald. The entire journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Grindelwald station, exit and make your way to the First Cable Car station, which is a short walk away. Purchase your ticket for the cable car to First. After reaching the top, follow the well-marked hiking trail to Bachalpsee, which will take about 30-40 minutes.
