Bus
From Locarno, head to the Locarno bus station (Autostazione Locarno). Take bus line 315 towards Maggia. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Maggia, Campii' stop. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to Cascata del Salto. Head northwest on Via Campii for about 10 minutes, and you will reach your destination at Via Campii 24.
Train and Bus
Take a train from Locarno to the nearest station, which is the 'Cadenazzo' station. The train ride will take about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at Cadenazzo, transfer to bus line 315 towards Maggia. Get off at the 'Maggia, Campii' stop. From there, walk northwest on Via Campii for approximately 10 minutes to reach Cascata del Salto at Via Campii 24.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Locarno. Head northeast on Via delle Scuole towards Via San Francesco. Continue onto Via Patrizi until you reach the main road, Via dei Fiori. Follow Via dei Fiori and take the path that leads you along the river. This scenic route will take about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. It’s a beautiful walk that will lead you straight to Cascata del Salto.
