Walking
If you are at the Locarno train station, exit the station and head south towards the main road (Via delle Scuole). Turn left onto Via delle Scuole and continue straight until you reach the lakeside promenade. From there, follow the promenade (Lungolago) along the lake until you reach the ferry terminal (Imbarcadero). Take a ferry towards Verbania. Once you arrive at the Verbania ferry terminal, exit and turn left onto Via Ruga. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will reach Museo del Paesaggio at Via Ruga, 44.

From Locarno, walk to the nearest bus stop 'Locarno, Stazione'. Take bus number 31 towards 'Verbania'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Verbania, Ruga' stop. From there, it's a short walk: head southwest on Via Ruga for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the Museo del Paesaggio at Via Ruga, 44.
