Walking
From the Locarno train station, exit onto Piazza Stazione. Walk straight along Via delle Stazioni until you reach the intersection with Via Nassa. Turn left onto Via Nassa and continue walking until you reach the lakeside promenade. Follow the promenade along the water, enjoying the views of Lake Maggiore. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Varenna. Once you arrive at Varenna, exit the ferry terminal and walk along the main road (Via Europa) towards the town center. After approximately 500 meters, you will find the Church of St. Peter on your left, nestled among the picturesque buildings of Varenna.

From Locarno, head to the ferry terminal located along the lakeside promenade. Purchase a ticket for a ferry to Varenna. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Upon arrival at the Varenna ferry terminal, exit and head towards the town center along Via Europa. The Church of St. Peter is located about 500 meters straight ahead on your left.

Begin at the Locarno train station. Take a regional train towards Varenna-Esino. The train journey will take approximately 1 hour and may require a transfer at a major hub like Tirano. Once you arrive at Varenna-Esino station, exit the station and follow the signs to Varenna. Walk along Via Europa towards the center of Varenna, and after about 500 meters, you will see the Church of St. Peter on your left, among the charming streets.
