    If you are in the central area of Locarno, start at Piazza Grande. Head east towards Via Nassa, which is a popular shopping street. Continue walking along Via Nassa until you reach the end of the street at the intersection with Via della Pace. Turn left onto Via della Pace and proceed until you reach the Locarno train station. From the train station, you can either take a train or walk to the Church of St. Peter in Varenna, which is located about 60 km away from Locarno.
