Walking
If you're starting from the Lucerne train station, exit the station and head towards the lakefront promenade. From there, walk along the lakeside path (Lake Lucerne) towards the northwest direction. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the entrance of the Rotsee area. Continue walking along the path until you reach the vast open space of Rotsee, which will be on your left.

From the Lucerne train station, take bus number 1 towards 'Kriens, Zentrum'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Kriens, Rotsee'. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 10 minutes, following the signs to Rotsee. You'll find a path leading directly to the lake.
