From Lugano city center, head to the Lugano Bus Station (Stazione delle Corriere). Take bus number 2 towards 'Maggia'. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the 'Maggia, Posta' stop, disembark and walk towards Via Fiume. The destination, 'Le golene della Valle Maggia', will be a short 10-minute walk straight down Via Fiume.

Start at Lugano Train Station. Take a regional train towards 'Locarno' and get off at 'Maggiorasca' station. From there, transfer to bus number 1 towards 'Maggia'. Get off at 'Maggia, Posta'. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes down Via Fiume to reach 'Le golene della Valle Maggia'.

If you are staying close to the city center, you can enjoy a scenic walk towards Maggia. Start from the center of Lugano and follow the signs towards 'Via Cantonale'. Walk along the lakeside promenade until you reach the intersection with Via Fiume. Continue straight, and after approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of walking, you will reach 'Le golene della Valle Maggia'. This route is approximately 5.5 km and offers beautiful views along the way.
