From Lugano, head to the Lugano train station (Stazione di Lugano). You can take a local bus or walk if you are close by. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket to Varese. Board the train heading towards Varese; the journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Varese train station, exit the station and head towards the main road. You will find a bus stop nearby.

From Varese train station, take bus number 3 or 5 towards 'Piazza Repubblica'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Via Luigi Sacco'. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Varese City Hall, located at Via Luigi Sacco, 5.

If you prefer to walk from Varese train station, exit the station and head southwest on Via Francesco Crispi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Garibaldi and then right onto Via Luigi Sacco. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Varese City Hall, located at Via Luigi Sacco, 5.
