    From Lugano, head to the Lugano Ferry Terminal located at the lakeside. You can walk there from most central locations. Take the ferry towards Tremezzo. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Tremezzo Ferry Terminal, you will be very close to Villa del Balbianello. Exit the terminal and walk northeast along the lakeside road for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the villa.

    Catch the bus from the Lugano train station (Stazione FS) on line C10 towards Menaggio. The bus journey will take around 50 minutes. Get off at the Tremezzo stop. From there, walk east towards the lake and follow the signs to Villa del Balbianello, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

    If you are in the Tremezzina area, you can walk directly to Villa del Balbianello. From the main square in Tremezzo, head towards the lake and follow the signs for Villa del Balbianello. It is a scenic walk of about 20 minutes along the lakeside promenade.
