Car
From Solothurn, take the A5 motorway towards Basel. Merge onto the A2 motorway towards Basel. Continue on A2 for approximately 30 km and take exit 3-Basel-Riehen. Follow signs for Basel and merge onto the A3. After about 5 km, take the exit towards "Basel Stadtmitte". Follow the signs to the city center, and park at one of the city parking facilities. The Fine Arts Museum Basel is located at St. Alban-Graben 16, which is a short walk from the parking area.

From Solothurn's main train station, take an S-Bahn train (S3 or S9) towards Olten. Change trains at Olten and take an InterCity (IC) train directly to Basel SBB station.
