From Thun, walk to the Thun Bahnhof (train station). Head to the bus terminal located adjacent to the train station. Take bus number 21 towards 'Bern, Wabern'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Bern, Nydeggasse'. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes, crossing the river, until you reach the Nydeggbrücke.

From Thun, make your way to the Thun Bahnhof (train station). Purchase a ticket to Bern, which is about a 30-minute train ride. Once you arrive at Bern Bahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs to Tram 9. Take Tram 9 towards 'Grosser Muristalden'. Get off at the 'Bern, Nydeggasse' stop. Walk for 5 minutes straight to reach the Nydeggbrücke.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to enjoy the scenery, you can walk from Thun to Bern. Start at the Thun Stadtzentrum and head towards the Aare river. Follow the riverside path, which will lead you directly to Bern. This is a longer route, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, but you will enjoy beautiful views along the way. Once you reach Bern, head towards the Nydeggbrücke.
