  • Ferry

    To reach Bellagio from Lugano, head to the Lugano Ferry Terminal located at the lakeside near Piazza Manzoni. From the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Bellagio. Ferries run regularly, with schedules available at the terminal or online. The journey takes approximately 30-50 minutes, depending on the service. Once you arrive at the Bellagio Ferry Terminal, you will be in the heart of the town, with beautiful views and easy access to local attractions.

  • Train and Bus

    If you prefer to travel by land, start your journey at the Lugano Train Station. Take a train to Varenna-Esino, which is on the opposite side of Lake Como. The train ride takes about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Varenna, exit the train station and follow the signs to the Varenna Ferry Terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Bellagio; the ferry ride will take about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bellagio Ferry Terminal, you can explore the town.

    If you are already in central Lugano and prefer a scenic route, consider walking to the Lugano Ferry Terminal. From Piazza della Riforma, head towards the lakeside, following the path along the lakefront promenade. This walk will take you approximately 15-20 minutes.
