Car
If you're driving, start from Locarno, which is about 20 minutes away. Head north on the Via delle Nazioni, then merge onto the A13 towards Bellinzona. Take the exit towards Centovalli and continue on the main road until you reach Intragna. Follow the signs to Melezza. There is limited parking near the Ponte Romano, so be prepared to walk a short distance.
Public Transportation
To reach Ponte Romano via public transport, take a train from Lugano or Bellinzona to Locarno. From Locarno, transfer to the 'Centovalli' train line towards Domodossola. Get off at Intragna station. From the station, it's a 15-minute walk to Ponte Romano. Follow the signs towards Melezza, and enjoy the scenic route along the river.

Once you arrive at Intragna station, exit and head towards the village center. Walk straight and take the path leading down towards the river. You will see signs directing you to Ponte Romano. The walk is picturesque and will take approximately 15 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
