Getting There

• Train

  From Lugano, head to the Lugano train station (Stazione di Lugano) located at Piazza Stazione. You can walk to the station from the city center, which takes about 10-15 minutes. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Como San Giovanni. Trains to Como run regularly, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Como San Giovanni station, exit the station and head straight towards Viale Guglielmo Marconi. The Tempio Voltiano is about a 15-minute walk from the station; simply follow Viale Guglielmo Marconi until you reach the museum at number 1.

• Bus

  From Lugano, you can also take a bus to Como. Go to the Lugano bus station located near the train station. Look for buses heading to Como; lines such as C10 or C20 are commonly used. The bus ride takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Como bus station, exit and walk towards Viale Guglielmo Marconi. The Tempio Voltiano is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus station, located at Viale Guglielmo Marconi, 1.

• Ferry

  Alternatively, you can enjoy a scenic ferry ride from Lugano to Como. Head to the Lugano ferry terminal located at the lakeside (Lungolago). Check the ferry schedule and board a ferry heading to Como. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour and offers beautiful views of Lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains. Once you arrive at Como, disembark and walk to Viale Guglielmo Marconi. The Tempio Voltiano is a short 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
