Tram
If you are starting from Zurich Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take Tram Line 4 in the direction of 'Zürich, Bahnhofquai/HB'. Ride for 4 stops and get off at 'Zürich, Central'. From there, transfer to Tram Line 6 towards 'Zürich, Zoo' and ride for 2 stops until you reach 'Zürich, Helmhaus'. Exit the tram and walk towards the Limmat river. Cross the bridge, and Limmatinsel will be directly in front of you.

From Zurich Hauptbahnhof, take Bus Line 31 towards 'Zürich, Hardplatz'. Get off at 'Zürich, Rathaus' (about 5 stops). Once you exit the bus, walk towards the river and look for the bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will find Limmatinsel right there.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Zurich Hauptbahnhof, head southwest towards the Limmat river. Follow the riverbanks, and you will reach 'Zürich, Helmhaus' after about 15 minutes. Cross the bridge, and Limmatinsel will be directly ahead of you.

If you are coming from outside Zurich, take a train to Zurich Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive, follow the tram or bus instructions provided above to reach Limmatinsel.
